We invite you to explore the many unique ways to celebrate and honor a life.
Whether you choose burial or cremation, having a service to honor life, and a permanent place to visit remains, is an essential part of the healing process. We’ll educate you on the traditional and nontraditional inclusions in these ceremonies—and help you design an observance that’s as unique as the life it’s about.
We’ll help you design a service with classic rites and rituals that will feel like timeless tributes.
Patriotic Honor.
Show the deepest respect to a veteran with a flag presentation and 21-rifle salute.
Together Is Better.
For burials and cremations, create a unifying service with readings, memories and spirituality.
Savor Memories.
Gather loved ones with a delicious feast in a relaxed gathering.
Ride Strong.

Bring family and friends together in a home or private garden, around familiar belongings.
How Would You Like To Be Honored?
Funerals unite people when they need each other most. These services can be opportunities to celebrate everything amazing about the life that was lived. And also to give guests a meaningful, healing experience. Explore a range of ideas and find what speaks to you.
A Sporting Celebration.
For fans, you can show the passion of the game through memorabilia, tailgating and more.
Keepsakes and Heirlooms.
Bring a set of objects that shares a treasured hobby, and guests can even leave with an item.
The Game Goes On.
For card sharks, Scrabble pros or billiard players, the game can be incorporated as a tribute.
Take The Stage.
For thespians and opera lovers, a theatrical event can be the perfect end to a brilliant life.
Into The Deep.
For a loved one who feels home at sea, cremated remains can be scattered over an expanse of ocean.
Reach for the Stars.
“Fly me to the moon; let me sing among those stars.” Many of us long to be able to travel among the planets of our solar system and out among the stars. Becoming part of the cosmos may be the perfect ‘send off’ for someone special.
Designing Your Memorial
There are few decisions in life as personal as deciding where you wish to be permanently memorialized. After all, it is a decision that extends into the lifetimes of your children and grandchildren – where do you wish them to go to honor your memory and share their emotions?
Ground Burial
Deciding on the type of memorial property is a very personal decision. The March Family, through King Memorial Park, gives families a beautiful setting where meditation, reflection, remembrance, and healing can take place.
Sometimes one family member wants to be buried and another wishes to be cremated, yet they want to be together. Because we know this to be a common wish, March Funeral Homes makes it simple for families. Our staff will help you arrange for a common burial of both loved ones in the same plot. Call March Funeral Homes at today, or send us an email inquiry today to discuss your options.

Mausoleums
At one time the advantages of mausoleum entombment were available only to royalty, the famed or the very wealthy. Well-known mausoleums include the Taj Mahal, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Egyptian Pyramids. Mausoleum property is now affordable to most everyone.
The 5-tier chapel/ mausoleum at King Memorial Park, owned and operated by March Funeral Homes is a community mausoleum with crypt spaces and cremation niche sections. Known as the Grand Heritage Mausoleum & Chapel, this beautiful building is the first mausoleum built in an African-American cemetery, and features marble and granite imported from Italy with an interior stained-glass chapel.
Private family mausoleum property is also available. These mausoleums are individually designed, custom-built and personalized to reflect the traditions and values of the individual or family. We encourage you to speak with a member of our professional staff regarding mausoleum entombment at King Memorial Park.

Cremation Options
Cremation niches, including those with glass front panels, are available in our mausoleum; while our outdoor Shepherd in the Storm cremation garden offers families a uniquely dramatic outdoor setting for interment of their loved one’s ashes. We are also proud to offer families cremation niches in the sidewalk along The Walk of Honor around our memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We also provide bench, tree, and statue memorial interment of cremated remains.
