Yvette Fenwick

Yvette Fenwick on Sunday, September 3, 2006 of Morningside, MD. Yvette Gregg Fenwick was born to William and Dorothy Gregg on May 18, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York. When she was a year old, the family moved to Long Island, New York. As a child, Yvette was friendly and outgoing and remained so as an adult. She was recognized because of her beautiful smile and friendliness. She was extremely family-oriented. Yvette was the oldest of four children of whom she was very protective. When she was in the sixth grade, Yvette was honored as the most intelligent student in her school. This achievement made her parents extremely proud. She also achieved high honors throughout her high school years. In 1993, she met her future husband, James Fenwick, when they both attended Wyandanch Memorial High School. In 1995, they married and their first child was born. They later had three more children and, as a family, moved to Maryland to begin a new life together. Yvette was trained as a substance abuse counselor and advocate for the mentally ill. She was a wonderful mother to her children and loved her family as much as they loved her. She leaves to mourn, her husband of ten years, James Henry Fenwick; children, James Anthony Fenwick 11, Tiara Marie Fenwick 10, Amir Marquis Fenwick 9 and Jamie Tiana Fenwick 7; parents, William and Dorothy Gregg; in-laws, James and Robin Fenwick; grandmother, Elizabeth McNeil; step-grandfather, Albert Coy; grandparents-in-law, Sam and Mary Kelley; three sisters, Yvonne, Yolanda and Chiffon; sisters and brothers-in-law. Quincey, Gail, Ronald, Marvin, Terrance and Tina; brother-in-law, Edward Dowell; uncles, Mumin, Michael and Buck; aunts, Joan, Angela, Sallybee, Mary, Diane and Janice; nieces, Amanda, Kayla, Nyomi, Kenya and Tatyana and nephews, Jylon, Jordan, Ejan, Jeremiah and Marvin, Jr. Her grandfather, Jesse McNeil, niece, Jeanna and uncle, Jessie McNeil, Jr. preceded her in death. Yvette?s special friends were Lee Hill, Jr., Sam, Phillis and Jesse Adams, Valaria, Annette, Cheryl, Antyane and Christine. I want to say an extra special Thanks for loving my child.
