Ogechi Stella Amadi

Ogechukwu Adanworisa Stella Amadi, fondly known as "Ogey," was born on September 30, 1969, into the noble family of the late Sir/Chief Ugwumba Johnson Onyegbulaonweya Umelo and Lady Ezinne Ugonwanyi Caroline Nkechinyere Umelo of Isiogwugwu Nkwerre In Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State. She was the beloved second daughter of the family and was raised with strong values of love, humility, diligence and faith in GOD. Ogey began her education journey at Ehi Road Primary School, Aba and subsequently attended Ovom Girls Secondary Schoo, Aba, where she distinguished herself through hard work and dedication. In pusuit of academic excellence, she proceeded to the University of Uyo, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance. While in the University, she met and married her beloved husband, Mr. Christopher Amadi of Umunaga Village, Nkwerre LGA, Imo State. Their union was built on love, mutual respect and unwavering commitment. After completing her National Youth Service, she joined her husband in the United States of America, where she continued her quest for knowledge and professional fulfillment. Driven by an admirable passion for service and compassion for humanity, Ogey pursued another Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Health Management and a Doctoral Candidate in Health Management, all in the United States. Ogey went on to practice as a dedicated nurse until her passing. She carried out her profession with exceptional care, empathy and devotion touching countless lives through her kindness and selfless service. She was blessed with three wonderful children: two daughters, Adanna Amadi, Chiamaka Amadi and a son, Chidiebere Amadi, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. She was a loving and devoted mother who nurtured her children with wisdom, affection and godly values. Ogey was an industrious, caring, loving and supportive wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She possessed a rare spirit of generosity and compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand to family members, friends and all who came her way. Her humility, warmth and cheerful disposition endeared her to many. A woman of deep faith, she loved the things of GOD and served Him wholeheartedly to the best of her ability. Her life was a shining reflection of grace, kindness and steadfast devotion to GOD and humanity. She had an admirable sense of elegance and always carried herself with dignity and charm. Her radiant smile, adorable looks and infectious laughter brought joy and comfort to everyone around her. Though her departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her loved ones, they are comforted by the assurance that she rests peacefully in the bosom of the LORD, where joy knows no end and where they shall meet again to part no more. Rest on beloved, beloved Sister and avenge your death. Your beautiful memories will forever remain in our hearts. Amen
