Jermaine M. Hagan

Jermaine Marquett Hagan was born December 24, 1992 in Prince Georges County Maryland to the late LaShawnia Inez Hagan and Jermaine Marquett Simms. He transitioned from this life to everlasting life on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Jermaine accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at then Jericho City of Praise and was a member of the church as well. Jermaine was a spiritual person and loved and trusted in the Lord. He never gave up on his faith. Jermaine attended public schools in Prince George’s and Charles County, Maryland. Jermaine cherished his only daughter Malaya Jashell Hagan and loved her unconditionally. He was a devoted and loving father and adored her truly. Malaya loved her dad unconditionally. To have a better picture of what Jermaine was like as a child, just look to Malaya as she is a spitting image and shares his adventurous, daring and bold characteristics. He can be described as motivated and driven. He often discussed his plans with his sister LaShay of being a future entrepreneur with the desire to own and run his business with his daughter and nephew Donte. Jermaine was loved by many for his funny personality and always cracking jokes. He was smart and we know that he was making plans for his future business venture and also looking forward to raising his daughter, Malaya. Jermaine was athletic, loved to play basketball and full of energy and loved music. You can recall him beating on a table making his own beats when in his zone. Jermaine was incredibly open with expressing his appreciation to anyone who did anything for him. He was always in good spirits and smiling. Jermaine was compassionate, loyal, respectful, loving, kind-hearted, family oriented and overall generous spirit. He is predeceased by his parents: Lashawnia Hagan and Jermaine Simms. He leaves to cherish her memories, his loving daughter; Malaya Jashell Hagan; Maternal Grandparents Queen Smith and Robert Hagan; Paternal Grandparents Patricia Simms and Gary Offutt; Welford Pollard(Grandfather figure), one sister LaShay Hagan, one nephew Donte Hagan, 3 Uncles Robert, Donyell and Kevin Hagan and cousin/sister LaShawn Harris and his long time friend Marrisa Parker.
