Gabriel Gebre

Wolde Gabriel Gebre was born on October 22, 1965, to his father, Mr. Beyene Gebre, and his mother, Mrs. Berhe Woldeyohannes. In 1987, a significant chapter unfolded in Wolde"s life when he met his future wife, Helen Agage. Their union was blessed with three daughters; Maranatha Beyene, Peniel Beyene, and Bethel Beyene. Wolde was not just a father but a close friend and a wise counselor to his children. He raised them with immense love and care, always providing guidance and wisdom that shaped their lives. His advice, rich with insight, played a crucial role in helping his children achieve their goals and become who they are today. In 1988, Wolde moved to the United States and established his residence in Baltimore, Maryland. The following year, his wife Helen joined him, and they have been living in Baltimore ever since. Wolde's commitment to his family and his faith continued to flourish in this new environment. Wolde Gebre has been a steadfast pillar in his church for several decades. In 1992, he received Christ and was baptized at the Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Baltimore. From that moment, his faith grew steadily, and he dedicated himself to serving the Lord with utmost dedication. Wolde began his ministry as a musician, playing the keyboard for both the worship ministry and the choir. Remarkably, he was a self-taught musician who dedicated countless hours to perfecting his skills. For many decades, he was the solo musician in his church, leading the first choir ever established there. As his ministry evolved, he also served by leading worship vocally, always with a heart full of praise and spirit of humility. His dedication to his church was unwavering. Wolde never missed a church service and was never tardy, serving the Lord with a consistency that inspired many. His life was a testament to walking in the fear of the Lord, consistently displaying Christ-like character in all his actions. Wolde's legacy is one of devout faith, unwavering commitment, and profound love for his family and God. His life serves as an example of how to lead with grace, wisdom, and steadfast faith.
