Allen McCoy Crosland

ALLEN MCCOY CROSLAND was born on October 4, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Reuben and Constance Crosland. He departed this life on January 3, 2026, at his home, having fought a good fight and kept the faith, he answered the Master’s call and entered into eternal rest. Allen graduated from Carver Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore City and later served his country by joining the United States Army. After completing his military service, he worked at Westinghouse Electric Company, and later at Howard County Public Schools Systems as a Groundskeeper, where he retired in 2023. He was also self-employed in landscaping through Allen Crosland’s Landscaping and was certified in Horticulture and Auto Detailing. Allen was introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ by a former coworker and later gave his life to Christ. He visited numerous churches until he joined Family Bible Ministries Worldwide, Incorporated, were he was ordained as a Deacon in 2007. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from the University of Family Bible. Allen joined Fruitful Living Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop Lester Lee and Pastor Darlene Lee where he answered the call to ministry and became a Minister who faithfully served his leaders and his brothers and sisters in Christ. Through previous marriages he was blessed with Sheena and Bree. Later in life, he married Sonya Crosland and together they were blessed with Mya. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Reuben Crosland, Jr., and cousins, Troy and Anthony. Allen enjoyed landscaping and detailing cars in his spare time, pursuing his passions until he was no longer able. He loved attending church, sharing laughter through his jokes, and spending cherished moments with his family. Above all, Allen was truly God’s servant. He faithfully served God’s people until his final days, never allowing his personal trials to hinder his ministry. His life reflected a heart fully saturated with the love of God, devoted to serving others and being led by the Holy Spirit. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Sonya Crosland; his daughters, Sheena Crosland, Bree Crosland, and Mya Crosland; his sisters, Donna Crosland (Hank), Ava Moore, Kelly Rasheed (Aaron) and sister in-law, Theresa; a beloved aunt, Anne Mayo; nephews, Shannon, Dameon, and Graham; nieces, Tanika, Mia, Niesha, Starr (Brian); and a host of other nieces and nephews; cousins, Doris, Joanne, Kimmy, Jeffery (Felicia), Rodney; and a host of great-cousins.
