Zeno Cherry, 91, of Washington, DC, passed peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife and caregiver of 41 years, Joyce Cherry, his two sons Calvin Cox and David Cherry, his devoted daughter Victoria Smith. Zeno is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Latoya Nappier and Malachi Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022, 10:00 am viewing and 11:00 am service at the True Pentecostal Church of Christ, 3311 12th Street NE, Washington, DC 20017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the National Federation of the Blind, nfb.org or the Alzheimer’s Association, alzfdn.org.
