Rosa E. Woody

May 26, 1932 - March 22, 2022

On Tuesday evening, March 22, 2022 our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She was born May 26 1932 to the late George and Alise Tuck, Rosa was one of three children. She professed faith in Christ, and joined Hope Baptist Church where she enjoyed worshipping and fellowship with the Saints of God. “She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew that she was the best mom in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her.” She was a mother to neighborhood children who would come to her when they needed someone to talk to. She always loved to cook for family, friends, and even strangers. Her life was fulfilled and overflowing with love and happiness. Left to cherish with loving memories are her three daughters, Elaine Woody, Doris Woody, and Della Woody; two sons, Sterling Woody and Garry Woody; one granddaughter, Briana Hollowell, and a host of relatives and friends
