Mrs. Dorothy E. Smith, age 92’ of Washington, D.C. passed away February 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Samuel L.K. Smith Sr. and she is survived by her daughter Deborah K. Morton of Alexandria, Virginia, son Samuel L.K. Smith Jr. of Washington, D.C. and son Vincent J.C. Smith III of Newnan, Georgia. She is also survived by five grandchildren Devon Lindsey, Alfred Morton, Briana Morton, Dianne R. Smith and Jasmine N. Smith, two great grandchildren Shayla Lindsey, Jurnee Belton and many other dear relatives and friends. Dorothy was born on October 2, 1928 in Remington, Virginia and a resident of Washington, D.C. since 1950. She worked in the D.C. public school system in food service.
