Clarence peacefully passed on February 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Margaret Ann Batie, loving father of John Earl Batie of N.C., Lolita Stewart of D.C., Denise Rivers (whom preceded him in death), Gary (Ruth) Batie of N.C. 11 grandchildren, : Teniah, Tiera, John, Tosha, David, Octavia (Mark), Kendra (Lemuel),Briana, Sharee, Bobby & Sade, and 14 great-grandchildren, a special cousin whom he adored and spoke with weekly, Mrs. Marie Steele, a host of nieces & nephews, and a very good friend of over 45 years, Mr. Herman Mitchell. On March 4, 2022 friends may visit with the family fronm 10am until time of funeral services at 11am at Marshall-March Funeral Home of Maryland 4308 Suitland Rd. Suitland, MD. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
