Annie Pearl Wilkins

Annie Pearl Wilkins passed away in Silver Spring, Maryland, on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Annie was born in Farmville, Virginia to the late Alexander and Katie Bigger. She was the ninth of ten children, all of whom preceded her in death. Annie leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Debra Ambush, Vera Wilkins, Clyde Wilkins and Janyce Wilkins, as well as one grandson, Malcom Ambush, a son in law, Allen Ambush and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Annie was a graduate of Howard University’s School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for the Washington, D.C. government for over 30 years. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Montgomery County Hospice, United Negro College Fund or the Southern Poverty Law Center. A graveside service will be held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 @ 12:30 pm.
