Shyheim Daquan Hunt

Shyheim Daquan Hunt, affectionately known as "Glizzy" was born on January 21, 1999 to La'Kia Jackson and Dana Hunt. Unbeknownst to us his great grandmother Jackie said she birthed him. He was a beacon of hope and a ray of sunshine to all, full of laughter and jokes. Shyheim was an only child born to his mother but was one of five beautiful siblings. Even though, this wasn't our plan, God has a bigger plan, and Shyheim received his wings on October 10, 2024. Shyheim was raised by a village and his village was huge. Growing up he formed close bonds with his brother Damar, his godmother Kiyan, his god sisters Ka'jae and Kiara, his cousins Janai, Joshuan, Cory, and Darnae. One of his favorite events was his birthday because his grandmother Rose always made him his favorite rum cake. Shyheim received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Dunbar High School. While attending Dunbar he ran track. His first race, out of 270 runners Shyheim came in fourth place. Shyheim had a distinctive personality, with an infectious smile. He was serious about his appearance, especially his mustache, his waves, and his Cartier glasses. And just like his great grandmother Jackie, he proclaims to be the most handsome person on earth. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing, all sports but especially football and basketball. Shyheim's passion was his music. He worked hard and his work paid off with three albums; Life After Death, 8211, and Downerville. Shyheim gave love and respect to everyone he came in contact with. The presence of Shyheim had a unique way of brightening your day. Shyheim was preceded in death by his great grandmother Jacquline (Jackie) Hunter, grandmother Sophia Jackson-Hunter, uncles Brian Morgan, Byran Morgan, and Brad Morgan, and his brother Demyni Hunt. Shyheim leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, La'Kia Jackson; father, Dana Hunt; bonus mother, Lakia Ragland; great grandfather, Wyatt Jackson; grandmother, Rose Carter; both grandfathers; Bryant Jackson and William (Billy) Hunt; brothers; Damar Hunt and Haiden Hunt; sister, Damiyah Hunt; aunt, Aunt Tora (Uncle K); great aunt Jacquline (Prina) Williams ( Dennis Williams); godmother, Kiyan Smith; god sisters, Ka'jae Hackett and Kiara Hackett; special cousins, Karen Watson, Darnae Barts, Cory Hunt, Lil Cory Hunt and Tre Hunt; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends
