Rashid Al’Malik Rafu Paul “ Shid” Sunrise Sunset February 2, 1984 January 23, 2011 “ Remembering Shid Rashid Al’Malik Rafu Paul was born in Washington, DC to Wendy M. Paul and the late Ab-dul Rashid A.R. Mitchell on February 2, 1984. Rashid was a graduate of Richard Milburn Senior High School in 2002. He held several jobs in the Washington metropolitan area. For the last two years, he was employed with the Golf Coast Enterprise. “Shid” as he was known to family and friends was loved by many. He was kind-hearted, loving and fun to be around. He was also outgoing and athletic. Rashid loved the Lord and was helpful to all that needed his help. Rashid departed this life on January 23, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Wendy M. Paul; his sister, Eve’lyn C. Paul; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Paul; godmother, Stacey Washington; his significant other, Quandra Bates; his brother-cousins, Christopher K.B. Paul; his aunts, Robin R. Paul, Ola Brown, Lowaun Bisby, Martha Armstrong, June Armstrong, Joyce Wilson, Belinda Smith and Marguerite Mosley; his uncles, Thomas A. Paul, Kevin Brown, Sulaiman Mahdi, Rudy, Bisby, Greg Wilson, Skip and Michael Bailey, Paul Williams, Rufus and Alvin Boyd, and a host of cousins and friends.
