BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE PASTOR ERIC OSEI YAWEric Osei-Yaw, affectionately known as “OSEIFUO”, “DEAD” or “NANA AMAKYE”, wasborn on 13th March 1980 in Burma Camp, Accra. His parents, both of whom predeceased himwere ExWO1 Richard Oppong Boahen and Madam Cecelia Nsarko from Chiraa in the BrongAhafo Region. Named after his paternal grandmother, Nana Ama Serwah, Eric was the fourthamong five siblings.Nana Amakye began his basic education at the Santa Maria International School in Accra andlater proceeded to the Kwashieman 3 JSS where he earned his BECE Certificate. Subsequently,he gained admission to the Winneba Secondary School in the Central Region where he was theHouse Prefect for Ayirebi Acquah House as well as an executive member of the Students’Representative Council.His working life began with Rana Motors Ghana Limited where he worked as a Sales Agent anddiligently discharged all his duties. By virtue of his hardwork, Osei was sponsored by KIAMotors to the USA. When he relocated to the USA, he worked with Walmart and subsequentlywith a distribution company in Maryland until his demise.Being someone who loved the Lord and was passionate about the things of God, Eric wasordained as a Pastor in 2007 by Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako of the Alive Chapel Internationalwhere he fellowshipped. Serving as the Assistant Pastor of Alive Chapel International Bronx,NY and Action Chapel International, Laurel Maryland, Pastor Eric obtained deeper insight intothe prophetic, deliverance and prayer ministries. As a man who genuinely loved God; God’speople and His word, his over-riding passion was to see the promises of God manifested in thenations, communities, families and individuals through the channel of prayers. Pastor Eric wasalso passionate about seeing people empowered and awakened to their God-ordained destiny. Anointed in the ministry of prayer, healing, deliverance and the prophetic, his teachings touchedcountless lives over the past years. His intense passion for intercession and strategic prayer wasborne out of his personal experience with God. To Pastor Eric, preaching and teaching the word of God with power, conviction and simplicity that avails without compromise was all that theLord expected of him.In 2015, he married Endurance Ohemeng with whom he was blessed with a daughter, Nhyira.Spending quality time with his family, relaxing, reading and learning whatever he could toenable him share the knowledge with others were things that Pastor Eric really enjoyed andalways made time for irrespective of his busy scheduled. On July 8th 2022, Pastor Osei was called to eternal rest by his maker. He will be sorely missed.
