Elizabeth Fraley

Elizabeth Fraley, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. She was born July 24, 1941, in Washington, DC to mother Mary Jane Byrd and father Charlie Jones. She was happily married to Roy Fraley on January 20, 1975. She attended schools in the Washington DC area. Elizabeth retired after several successful years from the District of Columbia Public School System as a Food Service Forman at Amidon-Bowen Elementary School in Southwest DC where she enjoyed serving the children of her community delicious hot meals. She was an advocate member of the True Holiness Church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Clinton, Md., where she enjoyed worshiping and praising the Lord. Elizabeth truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures traveling and spending time with family and friends. Elizabeth was known for her rambunctious personality and known for her ability to sense when people needed help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life and will be missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth is survived by her two sisters, Vernell Robinson, Delores Bell and brother David Michael Jones. Two sons, Kenneth Richardson Jr., and Charles Kevin Richardson; daughters-in-law Deborah Richardson, Diane M. Richardson, and granddaughter in-law Patricia Richardson; grandchildren Keith Richardson, Sihef Richardson, and Tia Richardson and 4 great grandchildren; five step sons, Bryan Fraley, Tony Fraley, Darryl Fraley, Michael Fraley, Gerald Fraley one step daughter Cathy Fraley, and adopted daughter Heather Fraley and a host of nieces, nephews and others whose lives she touched.
