Ariana Rosas-Siles

Ariana Rosas-Siles, age 12, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away on December 16, 2024. She was born on August 11, 2012, in Takoma Park, MD, to her loving mother, Veronica Siles. Ariana was a bright, adventurous, and compassionate soul who brought joy to everyone she encountered. She was a seventh-grade student at James Madison Middle School, where she excelled academically, earning a spot on the Honor Roll multiple times, including the first quarter of this year. Ariana played the clarinet in her school band and had plans to try out for the soccer team in June of 2025. Ariana’s zest for life shone through in her many hobbies and interests. She loved playing Roblox and Fortnite, styling her hair, and collecting stuffed animals, especially Hello Kitty. In August, she began ballet and immediately fell in love with dancing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Her homemade spaghetti was a family favorite, and this past Thanksgiving, she baked cornbread that quickly became a hit. Her favorite foods included mozzarella sticks and pizza, which she often enjoyed during moments of laughter and connection with her loved ones. Ariana could often be found roller-skating around the house, bringing smiles and filling the home with energy. Her love for animals, particularly cats, fueled her dream of becoming a veterinarian when she grew up. She shared many special moments with her sister over boba tea, her favorite drink. Known for her fearless spirit, she was the only cousin brave enough to ride every roller coaster at Six Flags, and she loved visiting parks, always dreaming of taking a goose home. Ariana especially loved when her aunts called her "Arianita," a nickname that always made her smile and feel their love. It was a small but meaningful reminder of their love for her. Her world was touched by her favorite colors—baby blue, which symbolized her soft, caring nature, and purple, which represented her strength and grace. These colors reflected the beautiful, vibrant spirit she shared with everyone around her. Ariana’s sweet, caring, and persistent personality endeared her to everyone. Though shy at first, she would light up any room once she felt comfortable, sharing her humor, warmth, and vibrant energy. Ariana is survived by her mother, Veronica Siles; her siblings, Nicole, Junior, and Alejandro; her grandparents, German Siles and Selva Soliz; her cousins, Mariela, Jaden, Kayla, Anthony, Alexander, O'Mere, Joleiny, and Za’riah; her nephew, Zaire; and her aunts and uncles. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. ________________________________________
