Andre L. Adams

ANDRE LAMONT ADAMS, SR. transitioned from this life on June 16, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1982, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, to Hester Adams and the late Emmett Adams II. Andre was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System and went on to work as a security guard and various positions throughout his life. Andre was a hard-working father who took pride in providing for his family and doing his best each day. He was a devoted father who loved and cherished every moment he spent with his children. His life revolved around them, and his love was evident in everything he did. Andre had a love for pets from an early age. He and his brothers were responsible for the family’s first pet, Maya—a beloved dog they got by trading a video game. That memory reflects both his creativity and the deep affection he carried for animals throughout his life. He had a special sense of humor that you would only understand if you truly knew him—his quick wit and unique personality brought joy and laughter to those closest to him. Known for his kind spirit and quiet strength, Andre touched many lives with his warmth, loyalty, and gentle presence. Andre is survived by his devoted mother, Hester Adams; his children, Shania Adams, Tyler Adams, Dehvyan Womack, Panther Adams, Andre L. Adams, Jr., Reign Adams, and Wednesday Adams; goddaughter, Mariah Arrington; his siblings, Felissa Hall, Melissa Hall, Emmett Adams III, Michael Adams, Sr. (Sheena), Menyon Adams, Carrie Dawkins, and Monica Johnson; his nephews, Darius Brown, Michael Adams, Jr., Caiden Adams, Turan Lane, Jr., Lorenzo, Johnson, Vincent Johnson, Antoni Johnson, Malik Johnson, Javon Johnson, Andre Reed, and Lamar Reed; and nieces, Michaela Adams, Tori Lane, Venus Johnson, Monique Matthews, Maya Johnson, and Vinnika Johnson; uncle, Thomas J. Williams, Jr. (Beverly); and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Gabriel Andre Womack; his father, Emmett Adams II; his grandparents, Rosa P. Williams, Thomas J. Williams Sr., Hattie W. Adams, and Leon Fitzgerald; his uncle, Larry “Tony” Adams, and his cousin, Doris Weaver
