Tyrone Earl Arnold

Hey, Tyrone Earl Arnold here, the 'one and only' and 'greatest of the three children of Rob and Vanessa Arnold. I was born on June 3, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland. My siblings, Stanley (Jamaica) and Debbie (Lawrence), and I had the closest bond, and they blessed me with the coolest nephews and a niece: Amir, Amari, Kairo, and Kimiko. Amir and Amari are the sports fanatics of the family, and Kairo and Kimiko are the first set of twins. So cool! Each one of them has uniquely touched my heart I am with each of you always. So, make Uncle Ty proud: live life to the fullest, be kind, have fun, and serve God. To my family, I love every one of you: our bond is still as strong as ever, even if I am only in your memories now, and I am living my eternal life in heaven. My genius ways were cultivated at Beechfield Elementary, West Baltimore Middle, and Edmonson-Westside High. If you know me, you know that music was my first love, so of course, "as talented as I am," I joined the band at Edmondson and played five different instruments. In preparation for the best years of my life, "college," I participated in the Gilman Upward Bound Program from my sophomore through senior year. After graduating high school in 2000, I attended Saint Augustine University in Raleigh, NC. I joined the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and met some distinguished brothers. There wasn't a place in the world where I didn't connect with a brother. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in 2005. Since I was young, I've loved professional wrestling and enjoyed crushing my opponent. I was known as 'Pumbah' and was a member of the Fire Star Pro Wrestling and Assault Wrestling Alliance teams. The traditional nine-to-five wasn't for me, and I discovered my passion as a lighting designer while working with the Universal SOUL Circus. I traveled the world touring with some of the biggest-name celebrities and became known as #LighemUpPumbah Yeah, I cherished that name. I accepted Christ at a young age. Mount Moriah Community Church in Raleigh is my church home. I was recently re-baptized, and my love of Christ and His people led to humanitarian efforts in Africa and Honduras. My spiritual journey has been a cornerstone of my life, shaping my values and guiding my actions. I loved my grandparents, Lucille, my living grandmom (late Dorothy "Ms. Dot," Mr. Earl, and Granddaddy Bob and Grandma Essie), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins (some affectionately known as "the cousins like brother's crew"), and extended family. I've also been blessed to know some of the most extraordinary people: my longtime friend Kia, my good friend Mr. Marvin, my best friends Jerry and Terrence, and my God sisters Crystal and Jennelle. I love you all. I know that not everyone experiences the love of family and the outpouring of support like I have. To everyone I have encountered, don't be sad. I have lived a full and happy life.
