In Loving Memory of Marylou Posadas Masil. Dec 1953 - May 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marylou Posadas Masil, who fought cancer with grace and determination. She lived her life to the fullest, traveling the world with her husband Edward Masil, and loving her family unconditionally. Marylou was a devoted wife, stepmom, grandmother, sister, Aunt and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Marylou is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Edward Masil, her stepson Eric and daughter-in-law Nicole, and her cherished grandchildren Melaina and Alyssa. She is also survived by her siblings Edgar, Edna, Meliton "Jun", Mila, Fer, Danny, and Marlon, along with their families. She will join in heaven her deceased parents Meliton and Erlinda and siblings Rose and Edwin. Marylou selflessly served her BLD (Bukas Loob sa Diyos Fellowship) community and mentored many BLD members, leaving a lasting impact on all those she touched. The funeral service for Marylou will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Mary's of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St Marys Pl, Laurel, MD 20707. The viewing will take place from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, followed by a Mass from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm. A reception and fellowship will be held at the Seven Oaks Community Association in Odenton, as per her request, at 2110 Charter Oaks Blvd, Odenton, MD 21113. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their love, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time. Your support has been a source of comfort and strength for our family. Marylou's memory will forever live on in our hearts. We are touched by the love and support we have received.
