Kierra Marie Goodridge

Kierra La'Tice Marie Goodridge was born on March 20, 1995, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Katrena Toles and Monte Bowens. She unexpectedly departed this life on August 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Affectionately known as Kay Marie, Kierra was educated in the Baltimore City and Baltimore County School systems and was baptized at Bethel AME Church. She was a woman of many loves - she had a passion for cooking, a sweet tooth, and enjoyed carpool karaoke, eating crabs, and taking selfies (with other people's phones!). She had a deep affection for her family and took special care of her beloved grandmother. One of her greatest joys was doting on her children, dressing K'Mora like a doll and Kevin like a little man. She also loved taking selfies with her kids, capturing every moment of their lives. Over the years, Kierra worked in various retail jobs but found her most recent role in security. She had a smile that could light up any room and a confidence that money couldn't buy. Kierra was known for her bold fashion choices that often surprised her family. She had an infectious sense of humor and could laugh at anything, including herself. Known for her malapropisms, her family will forever remember her amusing them with her funny sayings and use of words. Kierra leaves behind her cherished children, K'Mora and Kevin (KJ), who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her loving mother, Katrena Toles (Larry) Cole; her father, Monte Bowens; brother, Christian Toles; and sisters, Kristal Bownes and Avery-Marie Bowens. Her grandmothers, Phyllis Toles and Jacqueline "Grandma Peaches" Bowens, and her grandfather, Samuel Toles, will forever hold her in their hearts. She is predeceased by her grandfather, David Baxter. Kierra is also survived by her aunts, Kenyetta (Leroy) Lewis and LaToya Barbour, as well as her uncle, Kendall (Kiyah) Goodridge: along with a host of cousins, relatives, friends, and coworkers who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly. Kierra was truly one of a kind- a beautiful soul whose light will continue to shine. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
